MobiFone’s Value Added Services Center (MVAS) makes good use of e-learning for human resources development

In 2013, OMT was first contacted by MobiFone (, Vietnam’s 3rd largest mobile telecom operator, to develop a series of blended learning courses for the middle managers of the company. As an early adopter of elearning and blended learning, MobiFone has benefited from increased staff retention and job satisfaction over the years.

The MobiFone’s Value Added Services Center (MVAS) has been consistently a forerunner in using e-learning in its human resources development. By now the MVAS staff development e-learning portal now contains an impressive number of 32 e-learning courses, 7 tests and 5 staff assessments.


In the first 6 months of 2018 alone, MVAS staff made 7,926 rounds of self-page learning and 899 test-taking rounds on this portal, saving the company thousands of travel hours when compared to traditional classroom training.
